Types of Conversions
Lifts – Underfloor
For ease of use, we recommend an underfloor lift – the most popular type as they are stowed ‘out of the way’ under the vehicle. They are extremely easy to operate and there are varying platform sizes depending on your model.
Lifts – Inboard
Inboard lifts are often less costly than an underfloor lift; they are easier to keep clean and maintain, however you do sacrifice space in the rear of the vehicle.
A good option if wheelchair accessibility is required infrequently, though not as popular as Lifts due to the manual operation required. The ramp is stored inside the vehicle which may also mean losing a row of seats.
A motorised seat lift which enables the wheelchair user to get seated outside the vehicle before being lifted to a position inside.
